Meet the PRo
Welcome PReeps! My name is Alecia Puppe aka ‘Pups’ and I am a 20-something Public Relations professional hopeful, breaking into the communications industry one internship at a time.
I graduated from the J-School at the U of Minnesota- Twin Cities with a degree in Public Relations and I have been interning at various fine organizations around the metro for about two years.
I was proudly born and raised in a suburb of Minneapolis, Minn. and continue to reside there today. I love everything PR, downhill skiing and spreading my lust for life, travel and pinot noir.
My favorite time of the year is fall… there is nothing like the excitement of football season, 60 degree weather and amazing leaf colors! I lived in Montpellier, France for about six months and that is where my heart truly lies.
I created this site to describe and log my experience breaking into the PR/Comm industry in hopes to learn more and potentially find new opportunities (For the longer version of why I’m blogging, click here).
